Some Lyrics For the Pres.

I have been into this band lately and am quite impressed with them. The writer is a 39 or 40 year old who has his thumb on the vein of this generation, and me as well. He has a new song out from a band named, "a Perfect Circle" which I put up for those who have the music. They are appropriate for observation that the media seems to be putting up 'halos' around Bush's head when they show photographs of him. These are the lyrics as far as I've discerned them to date. If you have input or amendment please feel free to offer them as I will know you too have heard the song, which is 'cool man'.
Album: Ambience
Band: A Perfect Circle
Song:
FALLOFF

So glad to see you well
overcome them
completely silent now
Your Heavens hell
you cast your demons out

N I’d like to pull your halo down
Put it around your neck and tug you off your cloud

But I’m more than just a little curious
how your planning to go about making your amends
to the dead

to the dead

You call them demons, and they’re all
someone else’s atrocious stories
Now you stand before me for us all
So glad to see you
well

N I’d like to pull your halo down
Around your neck and tug you to the ground
But I’m more than just a little curious
How you’re planning to go about making your amends
to the dead

to the dead

With your ha-lo slipping down
Your ha-lo slipping
Your ha-lo slipping down
Your ha-lo slipping
Your ha-lo slipping down
Your ha-lo slipping
Your ha-lo slipping down
Your ha-lo slipping
Your ha-lo slipping…

YOUR HA-LO SLIPPING DOWN
YOUR HA-LO SLIPPING DOWN
TO CHOKE YOU NOW

In america we don't hear it much either. This band, and he has two (Tool and A Perfect Circle) and I guess had 4 albums out in Europe before even coming to U.S. to tour. They categorize the music as its own genre of 'metal art'. The dude is well out there, but quite nihilist, fatalist, and this is appealing to the young. I am yet to hear a bad song at least rythmically, to my taste. To have two bands, and all good music is pretty good. He even has one song he does fast live and slow on re-make which is even better. The same song better and better. He has the gall to do led Zepplin - aband having Bonham on drum [a god], J. Page on lead Guitar[a god], John Paul Jones and the most incredible lead voice ever R. Plant[a god] - but pulls it off as well. You got to have Tool or Perfect Circle because they are the s--- and growing.
