NEW WEBSITE CALLS CHRISTIANS TO RE-THINK
VOTING FOR BUSH IN THE UPCOMING ELECTION

PHILADELPHIA - REPENT AMERICA, an evangelistic ministry based in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Columbia Christians for Life in Columbia,
South Carolina have released a new website calling Christians across the
nation to re-think voting for George W. Bush in the upcoming presidential
election. BushRevealed.com was launched on the world-wide-web today to
provide Christians with articles, information, and commentaries on Bush's
pattern of anti-Christian behavior in the last several years, and is
challenging them not to remain in bondage to the two-party system.

BushRevealed.com was developed to serve as notice to Christians across the
nation that President George W. Bush over the past few years has compromised
his "Christian faith" by promoting evil and openly supporting wickedness.
However, Christians believe that they have no other choice but to vote for
the lesser of two evils. "So many well-meaning Christians continue to
reject the Truth about President Bush for the sake of conservatism. As
Christians, we are not conservatives, but disciples of Jesus Christ who
recognize and proclaim where right and wrong come from, therefore we must
vote righteously," stated Michael Marcavage, a field preacher with the
Philadelphia-based REPENT AMERICA.

"The Bible says 'He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the
just, even they both are abomination to the LORD' [Proverb 17:15], stated
Steve Lefemine, director of Columbia Christians for Life. "President Bush
has repeatedly, and continues, to justify the wicked; from advancing the
homosexual agenda, to funding abortionists, to praising Islam, to signing
unconstitutional bills into law that further socialism and shred our Bill of
Rights," Lefemine continued.

"We are not talking about an error or two that Bush has made in his time as
president, rather a pattern of ungodly decisions to embrace and promote
evil," stated Marcavage. The scripture declares, "Wherefore by their fruits
ye shall know them." Matthew 7:20 "Bush claims to be a Christian, but his
works do not attest to this," Marcavage continued. In Titus 1:16 the
scripture says, "They profess that they know God; but in works they deny
him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate."

"We invite Christians to take a look at the BushRevealed.com website and
investigate for themselves the documentation and history of Bush's anti-
Christian words and deeds," Lefemine said. "In the November 2004 elections,
my prayer, hope, and plea with Christians is to vote for righteousness," he
says. "The Bible says that "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a
reproach to any people' [Proverb 14:34]. Christians should stop wasting
their votes on people who will not stand up for righteousness."

Lefemine said, "If Christians will repent of the unbiblical practice of
voting for evil, even the lesser of evils, and vote for righteousness,
inspecting, say, the Constitution Party candidate and others to discern
whether they have biblically-based, constitutionalist positions, then we
will most wisely position ourselves to receive God's blessing, power,
anointing, and deliverance, for the healing of our sin-sick land."

"As for President Bush, we call him to repentance and encourage all
Christians to pray for him," Marcavage said.

Unbelievable! Here they have an evangelical, born-again president and they're still not satisfied--all or nothing at all! It reminds me of my Catholic faith in the days when they had all the answers. God, protect me by asserting a new and stronger separation clause.

Right on Wahkonta. It is sad to see Bush make some of the blunders he has, but thats the way it seems to be in these last days. Not much we can do about it.

After taking a look at the site, and reading the articles, all I can say is:
What an obviously politically motivated bunch of misinformation! Half-truths, out of context statements, and outright propaganda. Yet another political site aimed at misinforming the public to sway opinion.
While I am not affiliated with any political party, and do not publicly advocate any political candidate past or present, I find this sort of thing to be exactly what is wrong with politics today. Haven't we had enough of this kind of politics?
Here's a thought: How about a candidate that runs their campaign based on the issues, represents what the people they represent want (thought that was the whole idea anyway) and campaigns without slinging crap like a monkey in a zoo? Wouldn't that be cool?

When I encountered it I thought this same thing as you MasonM. Yet it is true that Bush is taking the Christian vote for granted. He has betrayed his Party principles as much as Clinton did, and is betting they are too abject to NOT vote for him again. Such a site and the one's to come as election nears and his agenda against his own Party platform is increasingly seen fo what it is - betrayal - has use in that it will hold his feet to the fire and make him reconsider how far he can go to disrespect his own constituency and still win re-election.
Be aware that it may be a group of "L" word people in disguise trying to divide and deflate his support. It may also be REAL Christian Republicans who view the betrayal in siding with the homosexual agenda - despite his campaign pledge, he is now apparently going to allow samesex mariage to become a condoned institution -as going too far. His support of illegal immigrants to detriment of American Citizens is also a factor which will only work to his detriment as election time nears as the Americans are laid off more and more in favor of slave-wage, under the table, ILLEGAL immigrants. He is going to have a tidal wave of them in next thirty days.
Glad I did not vote for him as I'd feel betrayed, so it must really be a pain to those who thought he was honest and had integrity to do as he said and say what he meant. I feel for Republicans, as I felt for Dems. who supported Clinton and watched him betray them like this.

That's all fine and good, but one might want to ask who all the right wing Christians (and Jews and just plain conservatives of no real religious persuasion) who they're going to vote for if not for Bush. I would like to add, as I think I implied, that not every conservative is a Christian and not all Christians are conservatives.
on Jan 16, 2004
That is true Christopher L. Gibson. Pat Buchanon said in 2000 that he was a Conservative till he realized he was Conserving a status quo which no longer was Republican or 'conservative' at all. In the end they are just control labels to keep voters choralled into certain mind-sets they can manipilate. If however, Bush has betrayed another promise he made to Christians in eliciting their votes, then this opposition is good for them and their Party, as it creates accountability. Without regard to thier options ('Billy Jack' star, Tom Laughlin is also running on Republican ticket and has a life of credential and honor to support him) of who else to vote for, remeber it takes "will" to get up on a cold November morning and schedule a turn at the voting booth. If Bush takes away the 'will' to support him, the tide may turn for those who actively oppose his Party.

I think all good Christians should get exactly what they deserve eternity in a lifeless gravel pit (no animals other than biped apes get in those golden gates right?). Oh yes eternally married to the same heterosexual partner and forever gossiping and stabbing each other in the back like a bunch of eighth grade girls passing notes. Tchhh tchhh G W doesn't follow all the rules.

I find myself in the unenviable position of asking, "Will discrediting Christianity win votes for President Bush?"
