I've known of this scam since early-on and have objected to the prescribing to the point of advising I was going to ask for review of the Psychiatrists who had prescribed 'Ritalin' for a child, whereupon they withdrew the prescription recommendation so as to avoid accountability. As parents, Americans have got to become aware that not all "doctor's Orders" are to be followed. I will not go into my work on the societal conditioning which has caused the destruction of the family unit and made a large profit industry in dividing a family against itself - qua divorce attorneys and Courts - but want to communicate one of the main vehicles used by the pharmaceuticals, physicians and insurance companies to make money on this prescribing of drugs that hurt our children. Did you know that a single parent, struggling to makle ends meet due to recent divorce, and having a child (usually male) who is at age of having zest for life and his/her abilities, has trouble holding everything together. They have to take kids to day-care, get to work, etc., etc.(lot of etc's go here) and have a child who is naturally, in the course of human development beginning to test limitations physically, mentally, and in all areas of development. These kids are 'troubled' to the daycare providers who need sedate children crammed in a room -the more the merrier for profits - and so will not put up with these ordinary, developmental behaviors of some kids who are full of energy by genetic, evolutionary, instinctive development that has gone on for millions of years. These parents, faced with the drain on their own life-energies by this child and struggling doubly since the divorce, are then given a solution by the Doctor.
The solution is to give the 'troubled' or "problem" child 'ritalin' or other variants the several pharmaceutical companies offer depending on which salesman has sold to that particular physician - and they do sell them these drugs (just like drug dealers, but in suits and ties and S.S numbers). If they take these drugs they are told, the parent can apply for the child to be classified as dis-abled and the government will actually pay them to give the kid the drugs. Ask around, because this is the God's honest truth. Literally millions of American children are now classed as dis-abled, a label which will haunt them the rest of their lives, so the profits can be realized.
I could go on for pages on this, and relate case histories of kids who become vegetative, suicidal, anti-social, un-employable, because of a moment of weakness when the parent let this be done to their own child. An emerging and un-spoken fact is that a new drug problem has now become the thousands and thousands of adults who are also addicted to and strung out on prescription drugs - guess where these drugs come from? The child's prescription bottle, because the drugs - such as ritalin - are but methamphetamine and meth variants, which allow the work-weary parent to get through the day easier. It's going on ALL OVER this Country.
If you are a parent and this happens to you, please think long and hard before you give in to this momentary fix, because the fact is the drugs not only addict the child, but also lead to a variety of mental health problems. In turn, the drugs are causing a incredible number of children to end up in juvenile prisons or mental institutions, where the single-working-parent, who just wanted a break, has to go visit and hear the suffering that these drugs have caused their child and the hardship life has now become.

"The Government's SSRI review group would now look at the safety and efficacy of the drugs in adults, it was reported last night."


All major antidepressant drugs other than Prozac, known as SSRIs, are set to be be banned for children under 18 by the Government today, amid concerns that the drugs cause young patients to commit suicide.

Sources at the Department of Health confirmed reports last night that four antidepressant drugs would be banned for children. Two drugs in the same group, Seroxat and Efexor, were banned in June and September respectively. An announcement is expected in Parliament today from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
